Just like there are support groups for people struggling with issues, there are support groups for glass collectors. The difference is as a depression glass club, we don’t encourage you to stop your behavior (collecting). After all, collecting beautiful American made glassware is far from a bad habit.
The Michigan Depression Glass Society is one of the largest and most active depression glass clubs in the country. Each month, 75 to 100 people gather in Livonia. They come from across the metro Detroit area (and even Toledo, Ohio), include men and women, and range from teenagers to AARP members. What do they have in common? A passion for collecting the beautiful glassware that was made during the 1920′s to 1960′s in America. From Fostoria to Fire King, our members collect it all!
